Committed to Community: Awards & Pro Bono Service
How Borders & Borders, PLC is Making A Difference in Louisville
At Borders & Borders, PLC, service to our community is a value we hold dear. Our attorneys volunteer with and have served on the boards of directors of several charities, including Hand in Hand Ministries, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville, the Passionist Earth and Spirit Center and the Louisville Urban League. We currently provide pro bono services for several affordable housing agencies and work with the National Association of Real Estate Brokers and the Louisville Urban League to promote homeownership for first-time home buyers.
We have had a special relationship with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville. Since 1990, John Borders has volunteered for Habitat, serving on the board of directors for six years and as President for two years. The firm has handled every single sale from Habitat to its partner family for free, closing more than 600 houses to date. The firm also provides other pro bono services for Habitat partner families, including wills and estates.
